Data Visualizer

This summer, I worked with three developer interns as the UX intern lead on a data visualization project for Ariba, a branch of SAP. The purpose of the project was to build an interactive prototype of a visualizer that would live-stream data depicting the interactions, growth, and relationships between the buyers, sellers, and users within the Ariba network. Our goal was to increase a sense of interconnectedness within the company by increasing visability into what the company did as a unit and enhancing feelings of participation in reaching anual fiscal goals among employees. I was responsible for conceptualizing the design as well as building a spec document for the developers to reference in the front-end stages of creation. I was trained by Rina Chang in how to conduct formal brainstorming sessions with small or large audiences, and these were used heavily in the inital stages of conceptualization with the developers.
